I decided to paint it for my entry to the

This image is so lovely!  Your skill is astounding (I have only a shovel full compared to your truckload), your depiction is mesmerizing, and the content is... delightful and touching.  Thank you so much for making this and more for sharing it with all of us. :]

I do sigh though remembering reading the books and feeling Rowling missed an opportunity to craft her stories into much more than they were.  Don't get me wrong, the HP series is historically popular for a reason, noteworthy to be sure, but there were so many potentially resonant connections left to vaguery, a number of seemingly significant omens went ignored to only dilute the continuity, and more than a few abrupt events that just felt either out of place or forced... Such characters, such connections!  Such a story!  I'm consoled with the overflow of my fellow fans; your imaginings expand and explore, sometimes doing more justice than the original story.

Anyway, thank you so very much!
